Anna Rose Dorland Aloha, my name is Anna Rose. I have attended Kihei Charter since ninth grade. I was born in St. Michael, Minnesota, and moved to Maui when I was thirteen. My portfolio contains the 21st-century skills I have learned, extracurriculars, community service, obstacles I have encountered, how I have become a better individual, and my journey throughout Kihei Charter. |
My Ohana.
- My Ohana has six wild, goofy, amazing people. My mom, Carol, is a part-time librarian at St. Anthony and has a tutoring business. My dad, Tim, works in the mortgage industry. I have an older brother, Aaron, who is living in Texas. I also have an older sister, Alia, who is living in Georgia. I have a younger sister named Alyssa, who is a sassy ninth grader and my right-hand side-kick.
As a kid, I talked non-stop. I had an itch for learning and never-ending playtime. I would mimic my siblings and parents with everything. Doing laundry, cooking, dressing up, and caring for grown-ups and my baby Sissy. My gratitude for my family is never ending; my friends and family are such a blessing.
I find my inspiration through the people I surround myself with and being in nature. I love dancing, hiking, watching movies, playing games, reading, and art!
