Work: Physical and Chemical Change Comic Book
Class: Chemistry
Teacher: Mrs. Shirkhodai
For this assignment, I created a comic strip giving two definitions and examples of physical and chemicals changes. I had three days to work on this in class. It contained illustrations and dialogue that were creative and entertaining. Once finished, I turned it in at school. I demonstrated my ability to understand and monitor my own learning needs and to goal-set. I learned how to communicate in other ways than talking. I am no author or artist, so it was essential to have my work organize for effectivity. I am most proud of the finished design. While I had three class periods, I also had to work on this assignment on my own time for three more hours. It took a lot of time, but in the end, I’m happy with the finished result. The most challenging part of this project was the design process. I was using a comic book to explain Physical and Chemical changes using an entertaining outline. This proved more challenging than I expected. I would improve this work by giving more examples of physical and chemical changes so my reader could understand better and have more examples. It relates to what I have learned from previous projects through the design process. And by creating art and writing into an assignment. I can apply this project to future learning by having an organized and practical design to create an understandable product and teach it to all.
