Work: Hydraulic claw
Class: Engineering
Teacher: Mr. Hazlet
Before Me and my group could start creating a hydraulic claw I did a lot of research about different design options Me and my group to choose from. Once we choose a design we decided to each work on a different part of the hydraulic claw. We choose this way of working with each other because it was the most time efficient. This taught me communicational skills because I had to work with three other students. We made decisions together demonstrating we were able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences for different purposes, using oral, written, and nonverbal communication. We made the hydraulic claw out of reusable materials including cardboard, chopsticks, a water bottle, cylinders, and other used materializes. Once the project was finished we took a timed test were we had to recycle items using our hydraulic claw.
